Metabolism Research Laboratory has been activated

Changing nutrition and living habits with the industrial revolution made metabolic diseases an important global public health problem. Now, compared to a hundred years ago, we provide food more easily, consume more and act less to obtain food.

Our bodies did not have the opportunity to adapt to this rapid change. Our physiology has been working with the same algorithm for 30,000 years. Understanding the mechanisms behind metabolic diseases is vital to overcome these diseases that increase morbidity and mortality rates and cause social and economic losses. Continuing to work on nutrition and metabolism at Medipol University Regenerative and Restorative Medicine Research Center, Q-Lab has put into operation the Metabolism Research Laboratory where more than 20 metabolic parameters can be evaluated.
